Prvé Majstrovstvá sveta v synchronizovanom plávaní v kategórii Mladší juniori s fantastickou účasťou/Fantastic turnout for the 1st FINA World Youth Artistic Swimming Championships 2019

Tri mesiace pred začiatkom súťaže, v nedeľu 26. 5., bol termín na zaslanie predbežných prihlášok na vôbec Prvé Majstrovstvá sveta v synchronizovanom plávaní v kategórii Mladší juniori (t.j. 13-15 roční pretekári), ktoré sa uskutočnia koncom augusta v šamorínskom komplexe x-bionic sphere.

A vyzerá to na skvelú účasť. V termíne predbežných prihlášok sa prihlásilo 29 krajín zo všetkých 5 kontinentov – Austrália, Bielorusko, Bulharsko, Česká republika, Čile, Čína, Francúzsko, Grécko, Gruzínsko, Holandsko, Island, Japonsko, Juhoafrická republika, Kanada, Kazachstan, Kostarika, Maďarsko, Nemecko, Poľsko, Rakúsko, Rusko, Singapur, Španielsko, Švajčiarsko, Turecko, Ukrajina, USA, Veľká Británia a samozrejme Slovensko.

Zatiaľ je na podujatie prihlásených 293 pretekárov, ktorí budú súťažiť v povinných figúrach, voľných sólových (zatiaľ je prihlásených 28 sól), párových (27), zmiešaných párových (6), tímových (25) a kombinovaných (16) zostavách. Chlapci budú v tejto kategórii súťažiť na medzinárodnej úrovni prvýkrát. Na domácej pôde bude mať Slovensko zastúpenie vo všetkých disciplínach.

Organizačný výbor verí, že konečný počet prihlásených krajín pokorí číslo 30 a usilovne každý deň pracuje na tom, aby čo najlepšie pripravil toto výnimočné podujatie, ktoré bude vrcholným podujatím tejto sezóny pre naše reprezentačné družstvo Mladších juniorov.

Majstrovstvá sveta určite prinesú množstvo krásnych športových príbehov, zážitkov a úspechov mladých pretekárov, z ktorých viacerí už o pár rokov môžu tvoriť svetovú špičku v tomto nádhernom, ale veľmi náročnom športe.

Sunday, the 26th of May, three months before the start of the competition, marked the deadline for preliminary entries for the very first FINA World Youth Artistic Swimming Championships 2019, which will take place at the x-bionic sphere in Samorin, Slovakia at the end of August.

And the list of participating countries makes for great reading. Preliminary entries have been submitted by 29 countries from around the world, with each of the 5 continents represented: Australia, Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Iceland, Japan, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United States of America and of course, Slovakia.

Currently, 293 competitors have been registered for the event and they will compete in figures, free solos (currently 28 soloists registered), duets (27), mixed duets (6), teams (25) and combinations (16). Boys will be competing for the first time in this category at international level. Slovakia, as the host nation, will be represented in each of the categories.

The organising committee believes that the final number of participating countries will exceed 30. This event will be the highlight of the season for our under 15 swimmers and we are working hard every day to ensure that this exceptional event will be of the highest quality.

This World Championship will certainly give us many wonderful sporting moments and stories, and bring success for the young competitors, many of whom will go on to join the elite in this beautiful yet demanding sport.
